The End-of-Life Care Computer-Based Training Program for Nurses' Aides E-Commerce Portal is a straightforward Drupal5 installation with a custom theme. It is fully user-servicable, with all pages editable via WYSIWYG editors.

The simplicity of the site and types of orders allowed us to bypass using Ubercart and directly tie into the Google Checkout system, which also supports order tracking and management.

Johnny Wander is a twice-weekly comic with a heavily customized Drupal installation backing it. Emphasis was placed on making the process of uploading a comic and assigning a blog post to it as simple as possible for a non-technical group.

While there are many pre-configured webcomic management systems, none hit all of the requirements the client requested, and many were difficult to use and maintain. As a result, Drupal5 was chosen for its flexibility and ease-of-use. Notable modules used in this application include:

  • TinyMCE provides WYSIWYG post editing
  • IMCE allows user-friendly image uploading storage in blog posts
  • ImageCache automatically resizes images for use in different pages and sections
  • Content Construction Kit (CCK) allows for the creation of custom data types
  • Panels provides a GUI for changing page layout and content
  • Boost caches frequently-visited pages as static HTML, updating every 15 minutes
  • Content Templates reformat the layout for RSS feed generation

florafolio is a graphically driven directory of native northeastern plantlife, with an integrated storefront (driven by paypal). Developed primarily as an iPhone web application, it was subsequently back-ported to modern desktop browsers.
